We were all sitting around in the late 80’s waiting for someone or something to step out from the pack .. we’d had the magnificent rock’n’roll of the 50’s & 60’s and all the great bombastic rock of the 70’s … and then the 80’s .. well .. suddenly everything that wasn’t played on a keyboard was played on guitar by a male trying to look as close to a female as he could .. then we hear from across the waters that America had Grunge and it was the new rock’n’roll … so many great front men …. so many loud & dirty guitars …. so many manic drummers …. and so many great songs.
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS .. LIVE .. BUSH .. Three bands from that era that had it all .. incredible front men … a band that was second to none .. and a sound that was theirs and theirs alone.
In April of 2020 Electric Mary get to tour Australia with these three bands and the legendary Rose Tattoo .. this is a rock’n’roll carnival not to be missed .. this is an era that spoke to everyone who wanted to be a rockstar again.
